When Apple launched the iPhone 7, the tech business also promised its users a completely new iPhone experience with iOS 10. The software update came with a collection of diverse features, including an animated iMessage experience, voicemail transcriptions and a new music streaming service with Apple Music.

According to Mac World, this new streaming application is different from Spotify, Tidal and every other subscription service because of its three additional features: Beats 1, curated playlists and Connect. With Beats 1, Apple “promises to deliver a curated selection of songs, pop culture news and interviews with artists,” says Mac World. Not only that, but Apple Music offers song and artist recommendations tailored to your tastes, built by “real people,” not algorithms.
