This month Merriam-Webster added “adulting” to the dictionary. Yes, that really happened.
But any fan of social media has long been using the noun-turned-verb. And on Saturday, the phrase “adulting is a pain” was even trending on Twitter.
“Adulting” has come to mean behaving like an adult and doing the things that an adult is expected to do – you know, like filing your own taxes and going into work every day.

Just remember, there’s always wine.
