Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is a supermodel, actress and the businesswoman behind a new line of active wear for Marks & Spencer.

But that doesn’t mean that her life is perfect. Speaking with Elle UK, the January cover girl revealed her struggle with anxiety.

“It’s a horrible feeling,” Huntington-Whiteley admitted. “There was one particular time when I had terrible anxiety attacks. But I got through it.”

She told the publication that dealing with such hardships has made her a better person. “Those rough patches are always times you can look back on and in hindsight, you can be quite proud of,” she gushed.

Huntington-Whiteley believes such difficult moments “give you a deeper understanding of yourself,” from which you can learn and grow, adding that every year she learns so much more.

The “Mad Max: Fury Road” actress mused, “It’s true what they say: you get more confident, and grounded, and just weed out the bulls—t.”
